TLDR: We can't add new maps or models, or add features that would make a WW2 mod possible. If we could mod towed weapons in we would be good, but that would be very difficult, unless we take the route of making them able to board certain vehicles like infantry, but they wouldn't be displayed attached to the vehicle. I'd wait for a new game, or more moddability to come to Red Dragon before an attempt is made. We get rid of the range scaling(Weapon ranges are 3 times the real range driven by the vehicles) so that the poor autonomy of WW2 vehicles is fine, and long range weapons like AT guns and heavy armor can be fine. As voted for by the community, the versatile Israeli army and its clever use of modified foreign equipment joins the fray and adds further depth to Eugen Systems’ spectacular RTS.
